Individual Parcel Relay: Simple Pricing
At Kontor of Bruges, we believe in transparency. No hidden fees. No minimum volume. No storage. Send us your pre-packed boxes, and we relay them into the EU. Our pricing is built for flexibility, not long-term contracts.

1. Getting Started
Onboarding Fee: €125.00
Covers custom data mapping, profile setup in our carrier networks, and an initial audit of your data formats for EU compliance. One fee, no recurring charges.
2. Inbound Shipment Fees
Every delivery to our hub breaks down into two parts: what happens on paper, and what happens on the dock:
Document Review & Admin Support: €45.00 (per inbound shipment)
The paperwork side. We review your Commercial Invoice, check your HS-codes and EORI details, and flag potential border issues before your goods arrive. You remain the Importer of Record.
Physical Intake: €20.00 (per pallet)
The physical side. Unloading, counting, and a visual quality inspection of the outer boxes with photo confirmation.
3. Per-Box Handling
We receive your pre-packed boxes, validate the recipient addresses, apply EU shipping labels, and hand them over to DHL for last-mile delivery. No minimum volume. One box or one hundred.

* Chargeable weight is the greater of actual weight (kg) or volumetric weight: (L × W × H in cm) / 4,000.
Note: We only process pre-packed boxes. Items must arrive in their final shipping carton, sealed and ready for a label. No picking, no packing.
4. EU Shipping Rates
We split EU destinations into five zones, each priced to reflect local delivery costs from our Belgian hub. No inflated international surcharges. Mainland Europe only.

Rates are subject to monthly carrier fuel surcharges. We buffer minor fluctuations within our standard prices.
5. What Your Shipment Could Look Like
6. When Things Need Extra Work
Our pricing assumes a smooth process. When extra work is needed:
- Express Processing: +€3.00 per box
Guaranteed processing within 24 hours of arrival at our hub. Your boxes are labelled and handed over to the carrier on the same day. This is not a next-day delivery guarantee to your customer. Final delivery times depend on the destination zone and follow our standard shipping table. Subject to prior agreement. This fee ensures we can allocate dedicated resources without delaying other clients. - Repacking & Recovery: €45.00 per hour
For damaged shipments that need manual sorting, re-stacking, or box replacement.
7. What We Cannot Process
- We do not process: liquids, perishable goods, tobacco, hazardous materials (ADR).
- Excise Goods: We are not an authorized excise warehouse. We strictly prohibit any goods subject to Belgian excise duties, including all beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), coffee, and tea.
Any shipment containing prohibited goods will be refused and returned at the sender’s expense.

8. Returns, Rules & Responsibilities
- Returns: Carrier fees for undeliverable parcels are passed through at cost. Return Handling: €5.00 per box.
- Relabelling: A box needing a new label is charged the standard handling fee again.
- Address Correction: DHL address correction fees are passed through at €15.00 per occurrence.
- Undeliverable Parcels: Held for 10 business days. The client must provide a return address or disposal instruction. After 10 days, parcels are disposed of at the client’s expense.
- No Storage Policy: We are a relay facility. All goods must have a confirmed destination upon arrival.
- DDP Requirement: All shipments must arrive Delivered Duty Paid. Duties and VAT must be pre-settled.
- Importer of Record: You remain the Shipper and Importer of Record at all times. Our EORI number is never used.
- Product Compliance: You are responsible for EU product compliance. We do not verify product contents.
- Insurance: You must maintain your own transit insurance. We do not insure your inventory.
9. How Payment Works
Prepaid invoices for handling and shipping are due within 24 hours. Other invoices (repacking, address corrections, returns) are payable within 14 days. All prices exclude VAT and are subject to Belgian VAT rules.
